- Word Count: Articles should generally fall within the range of 300 to 600 words. Ensure that your content is comprehensive and provides value to our readers.
- Formatting: Please format your article as a well-organized, easy-to-read piece. Use clear headings, subheadings, and bullet points where appropriate. Include a brief author bio with your submission.
- Images: If your article includes images, ensure they are high-quality, relevant, and accompanied by proper attribution if necessary. Avoid copyrighted material unless you have the appropriate permissions.
- Hyperlinks: You may include relevant and non-promotional hyperlinks within the body of your article. However, any promotional or affiliate links will be removed.
- Editorial Discretion: The Maine State Grange reserves the right to edit submissions for clarity, style, and length. We may also choose not to publish an article if it does not meet our standards or conflicts with our values.
- Exclusivity: Once your article is published on the Maine State Grange Website, we request that share a link to the published article on your personal or professional platforms.
- Review Process: We will review all submissions. Due to the volume of submissions, we may not be able to provide feedback on every article. If your article is accepted, we will notify you of the expected publication date. Preference will be given to Grange Member submissions.
