National Grange Scholarships

Sponsor: National Grange GROW Club
Scholarship: National Grange GROW Club Academic Scholarship
Description: The purpose of the scholarship is to assist in the educational expenses of Grange members from across the United States. The GROW Club Board will award at least one scholarship in the amount of $500. The number of scholarships will be determined by the amount of funds available. Selection will be based solely on the application. The selection committee will consist of the members of the National GROW Club Board.

Maine State Grange Scholarships

Scholarship: Maine State Grange Ag Scholarship
Description: Available to Maine Residents, high school seniors pursuing a career in agriculture or an agriculturally related field.

Scholarship: Maine State Grange Educational Ed Scholarship
Description: Applicant must have completed one year of college and be a member in good standing of a Grange in Maine.

Local Grange Scholarships

Sponsor: Hollis Grange #132, Hollis
Scholarship: Hollis Grange #132 Scholarship
Description: Open to Hollis residents, high school seniors. The scholarship is awarded after successful completion of at least one term of post-high school education.
Application Deadline: Mid-May
FMI: Apply through Bonny Eagle High School Guidance Department or if not attending the public high school can request an application from the Hollis Grange Secretary. (See online directory.)

Sponsor: Kennebec Valley Grange #128, Madison
Scholarship: Carroll Dean Memorial Agricultural Scholarship Agricultural
Description: Open to any Grange member or child/grandchild of the member, whether traditional or non-traditional student studying any form of agriculture or husbandry at an accredited institute of post-secondary education in Maine. Funds are distributed upon completion of the fall semester.
Application Deadline: Mid April

Scholarship: Dorothy Waugh Memorial Scholarship
Description: Awarded to a graduating from Mt. Blue High School or Foster Tech Student who intends to pursue a career in an ag-related field.
Deadline: Mid-May

Scholarship: New Norland Grange Memorial Scholarship
Description: Awarded to a graduating senior from Spruce Mountain High School and attending a two or more year technical school program.

Sponsor: Parkman Grange #305, Parkman
Scholarship: Minnie Welts Bridge Memorial Scholarship
Description: Applicants must be residents of SAD 4, must have successfully completed at least one term of post-high school education, and be enrolled for the upcoming term.
Deadline: June 30

Scholarship: Somerset Grange
Description: Awarded to a local Norridgewock student and given through the Skowhegan Area High School.
Application Deadline: Due to fundraising challenges, no scholarship is planned for 2021.

Scholarship: Winthrop Grange Scholarship
Description: We offer a student from Monmouth Academy, Winthrop High School, and Maranacook High School a $200.00 scholarship in the agricultural area.
