The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet\u2019s reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person\u2019s reward. And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.\u201d<\/p>\n\u00a0 <\/strong>Matthew 10:40-42<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

We are getting into the hot season. The season most of us were dreaming about last winter. You remember, the cold winter that seemed to hang on forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now that the hot weather is here, what do people want most of all? A cool place to relax, and a nice cold drink! But what about those unfortunate people who cannot find these things? What do they do?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you see someone struggling with the heat, give that person some help. If nothing else, give them a drink of water. If that isn\u2019t possible, definitely call someone or an agency who can help. Be that person who steps up to help someone less fortunate. It doesn\u2019t cost anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
