On March 5, local farmer Kenny Trafton lost his home, farm and income to a devastating fire. Please come and support Kenny and his family with a potluck dinner and silent auction. Saturday, March 12th 4:45 to 6:00. Roast turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, string beans, home-made cranberry sauce, bread, cake, beverages. $8 adults, $4 children 12 and under.

If there is a large early crowd, we will open the dining room earlier than 4:45 to try to avoid long waits.
The Wilson Grange International Dinner is set for Friday March 25th at 6 pm. Minja Nedgljkodic will be giving a presentation from her country of Serbia upstairs after the meal.
On the menu for the evening will be an appetizer from Minja’s family recipe of Stuffed eggs.
For the main course Serbian Musaka, which are sliced potatoes layered with ground beef, onions, carrots, covered and baked in a yogurt/ sour cream/ egg sauce. A Side salad will be served made with tomato, cucumber and bell peppers. Also Proja, A Serbian corn bread. Dessert will be Pita sa visnjama, tarts served in apple and sour cherry. In honor of the Serbian cultures love of coffee, this will be the beverage of the evening. Bangor Grange #372 begins it’s 2016 supper and show season on Saturday, March, 19. The folks are serving their famous boiled dinner, featuring ham, corned beef and all the veggies, followed by that great assortment of homemade pies. Following the supper, The Half Way Home trio will appear for the first time in our historic hall. The band consists of Dick Dutson on rhythm guitar, banjo and vocals, Kermit Bennett on guitar, mandolin and vocals, Alexandra Conover Bennett accordion, autoharp, guitar and vocals. These three lively musicians perform new acoustic, indie & traditional folk, originals with sweet harmonies as well as Celtic and Finnish tunes. Living in the geographical center or heart of Maine their name reflects the fact that no matter where they go in Maine they are always half way home. Supper 1st sitting for just the meal at 5 pm. 2nd sitting at 6 pm for the supper and show combined. Show at 7 pm. Supper $8, show $8, both for just $14. Call 973-3976 for information.

On Feb. 28,20l6 Ammadamast Grange #379 will honor Joan & George Mason of Howland, Me.for the Firefighter/EMT Grange Northeast Region Community Service Award of the Year 2015. This Award will be presented at an Open House from 2:00 – 4:00 at the Grange Hall 46 Lowell Rd. Enfield, Me.
This is the first of our 2 International dinners for this winter. This Friday Feb. 12th we will be having our special guest, Fatma Al Ragom who shall be sharing with us a presentation depicting her home country of Kuwait. She will also be instructing us with the cooking of Machboos (this is a spiced chicken and rice entree) also Warakeanb (stuffed grape leaves) and Kunafa (a cheese pasty dessert). Dinner will be served at 6pm.
