Seaside Grange Rummage Sale
SEASIDE GRANGE OF COREA CELEBRATES 50th YEAR OF ITS ANNUAL RUMMAGE & BAKE SALE! It all started on May 15, 1969, when the Women’s Activities Committee of Seaside Grange held their very first “Food & Rummage Sale,” raising $120.67 to support the work of the Grange in Corea. After 50 years, it’s still our annual fundraiser, everyone pitches in, and in addition to sustaining our local Grange, we also use a portion of the proceeds to support local charities. This year, our Rummage & Bake Sale will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019, from 9 am to noon, at the Grange Hall, 64 Crowley Island Road in Corea. In addition to our famous homemade baked goods, this year’s sale includes lots of great household items, furniture, antiques, baby items, toys, clothes, and plants, plus a Silent Auction of special treasures! As one enthusiastic shopper commented at last year’s sale, “This is the social event of the season in Corea!” FMI contact Jennifer Stucker seasidegrange@gmail.com
