I visited with Pat today (Thursday) at Heritage House in Winthrop where he is having therapy. It was a good visit and I wondered why he was still there. He has regained all the movement of his right arm and leg and walks as well as I do. I noticed no difference in his speech, so my opinion is that he is very near the time when he will be coming home. He said that the therapy has been intensive and several times a day. He is going up and down stairs and walking around outside during the sessions. He is very upbeat and realizes that this episode was a good wake-up call and that he needs to pay better attention to his meals and exercise. He is looking forward to once again be involved in his usual Grange activities.
